Vous permettez, Messieurs, que je vous haїsse?(c)
Angela Aki - Moral no Soushiki (Funeral of Morals)

The call of an owl warns of "death"
Darkness rips wounds apart and calls on the full moon
From believers and unbelievers to the Father
Everyone's dressed in mourning clothes and listening to the wind

This evening will be Moral's funeral
Pater Noster

The falling stars are heaven's tears, the trees' moaning rings throughout the woods
The lake passes on the sorrow from its surface to the wind
The wind that calls and leads everyone to the funeral hall

This evening will be Moral's funeral

Love is seated in front
Beside which, Philosophy chews on his cigarette deep in thought
Pride and Devotion sits right behind
Deep in conversation with serious faces

No one could hide their shock
Pater Noster

The still-young Innocence, lead by Wisdom in hand
Offers a white rose to the casket
Reason stands from her seat and lifts up her black veil
Slowly beginning her speech at the end of the ceremony

"My son's sudden departure still leaves my
heart in confusion
I'll never forget his resonating voice and honest eyes

I'm sure, even now, he's shining on us like a lighthouse
When we are lost, when we stray and when we can't see the path
He lives on in your heart, at the turning point of good and evil"

Pater Noster

Sympathy nods furiously as the clapping rings
Truth whispers into Reason's ears

"I once had a son
Even though Hope has left us,
He still lives on in everyone"

When the owl stops its call and flew away
The sun rises amidst the morning mist
